Artillery

Let's wheel the artillery out for a photoshoot....

I've got four guns - I've never got my head round the confusing different terms for medieval artillery (serpentines, veuglaires, culverines, crapadeaus, etc...) and suspect that there is no real method to how they are named, so I just call them guns.

Two are from Perry Miniatures, and the other two are older sculpts from Foundry. The former are very detailed and fiddly to assemble, the latter are plainer and more robust. They all work fine together. To source extra crew, some are from the Bombard set from Perry, some converted from the wagons and labourers sets, one is a plastic build and one a converted Crusader Miniatures sculpt. The equipment is mostly from Front Rank.

They are painted without any sort of livery so they can be used for any faction.
